Morten Lauridsen - Lux Aeterna

This evening will be an exploration on the theme of LIGHT. Elaine Hagenberg’s recent work Illuminare features a journey from light into darkness and back to light; Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna is an exploration of perpetual light. This will be a powerful and poignant evening of choral music.

Holidays on the Hill

Selections of holiday favorites to brighten your season! Featuring the World Premiere of a carol arrangement by Dr. Matthew Herman, whose music always elicits positive reactions from singers and audiences alike! This will be the second of their three commissioned arrangements for the choral society...come hear the premiere!

Carl Orff - Carmina Burana

Based on the words of monks discovered in the 19th century, this work has appeared in pop culture, often for action movie trailers! Orff’s choice and arrangement of these texts ranges from plaintive to pastoral, from raucous to randy (…and maybe even a little bit naughty!). Come enjoy our season finale!
