Voices of Southern Kentucky (formerly known as the Southern Kentucky Choral Society) is a cross-section of the greater SOKY community that rehearses and performs works for chorus and orchestra several times a year.    Comprised in part of WKU students and in part of members from the greater community – teachers, business owners, mechanics, homemakers, lawyers, administrators, service workers, office workers and doctors alike – we gather to sing, share, grow, and present meaningful works of art…and make friends in the process.

Though the Voices of Southern Kentucky primarily performs locally, they have twice traveled to Carnegie Hall, to participate in productions of Mozart’s Requiem (2017) and Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem (2019, under the direction of Artistic Director Paul Hondorp). Singers will have the opportunity to perform in Carnegie Hall again in June 2027.

Rehearsals are held on Monday nights from 6:30 - 8:30 pm, in Western Kentucky University’s state-of-the-art Choral Rehearsal Hall (MH 111).
